Today, I am back with a very important post because this is what I am currently struggling with. I am 6 months pregnant and dealing with pigmentation issues. Well, it's not new. I often had white spots on my skin before pregnancy or even before marriage. Many dermatologists said it was due to a lack of certain vitamins. I used to apply a few face packs and then within a few weeks or a month max they used to disappear. But of course, it's not a good sight.
Hence, this time I feel the same. I have two large white spots on either side of my cheeks that are quite visible. And of course, people won't stop asking you what it is and will give you endless advice. But this is what I did to get rid of skin pigmentation during pregnancy.
7 Home Remedies for Skin Pigmentation During Pregnancy
1. Put the lemon
This is the oldest home remedy to deal with any kind of skin pigmentation problem. Simply cut a slice of lemon, rub it all over your face, and give it some time to calm down. Of course, it will cause a tingling sensation at first, but after a while it will settle down. Once your face dries, rinse your face with water. You can try this every day once and within 1-2 weeks depending on the amount of pigmentation you can see the results.
2. Apply honey
This is something people with dry skin like me can try. Apply raw honey on your face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. I am a lazy bum and keep it on for about 30 minutes and then wash your face with water. Not only will this smoothen and moisturize your skin, but it will also add a gorgeous glow to your face over time. And of course, it helps you deal with skin pigmentation as well. You can also try lemon + honey, which I do some days. Add one or two drops of honey to a lemon slice and then apply it all over your face.
3. Put the tomato pulp
Just take a slice of tomato and then rub it on your face. This can make your clothes dirty because tomatoes always tend to fall off. Give it some time to dry and then rinse your face with water. This will give you a beautiful rosy glow and works as an excellent home remedy for skin pigmentation.
4. Payzan app
Besan is another easy secret ingredient that you can easily have in your kitchen. Just take 1-2 tablespoons of besan in a clean, dry bowl. You can add a few drops of jalapeno, honey, or even fresh lemon juice to the besan. Apply the mixture on your face and leave it for some time to dry. After that, rinse your face with water.

5. Multani mitti
Another secret and my favorite is multani mitti. I use it with julep gel, honey or plain water sometimes and the effects are beautiful. You can see a beautiful glow instantly and with regular use, you can also see pigmentation and tan marks diminish.
6. Vitamin E capsules
Vitamin E capsules are also very effective in treating pigmentation on your skin. Just take a capsule, mix it with your night cream, and spread it all over your face. For people with dry skin like me, one capsule is way too sticky. Therefore, you can take the content of only half a capsule and save the other half for the next day.
7. Obtan
And last but not least, i have a lot of faith in this ubtan as i have seen it completely take care of my pigmentation issues. You can use Forest Essentials Narangi and Nagkesar Ubtan. I use it with yogurt and let it dry on my face. Not only did it bring a beautiful glow from the first use, but it also reduced the white spots on my skin after about 15-20 days. You find this ubtan a bit expensive then you can also try Aroma Magic Anti-pigmentation Glossy Pack. I find this also works well on pigmented skin.
The key to treating pigmentation or even dullness on any complexion is to be consistent. You really need to do this every day. Also, do not try the same recipe every day after a while, you will notice that the skin has adapted to it and will stop producing results. Thus, keep trying something new every day. The above are 7 different skincare recipes that I try every day. This way you can see the improvement in your skin. Pregnancy is a time when you can't take a lot of medication, hence these home tips to my rescue.
